Honda Malaysia hikes prices from January 1, 2016 – full price lists of all models and variants revealed

Honda-Malaysia-2016-prices

It appears that the Honda City will not be the only model to receive a price hike. A local Honda dealer has posted price lists of every model that is offered by Honda Malaysia, and it seems they will experience the same fate as well come January 1, 2016.

This includes the Honda Accord, City, Civic, CR-V, HR-V, Jazz and Odyssey, where prices look set to go up by up to RM6,964. The prices (on-the-road with insurance) of Honda Malaysia vehicles from January 1, 2016 onwards are summarised in the table above.

As you can see, every variant of every model offered by Honda Malaysia (except the Civic Hybrid and CR-Z) will be priced higher than before (up to 2.85%). One interesting to note is the Honda Odyssey that appears to lose its entry-level 2.4 EX variant next year.

Another solution wait for facelift but pre-facelift. Yet again reduce max 0.9% but increase start at 2% above. Some says DRB-HICOM better??

For those who dont mind the second hand car smell,BY ALL MEANS buy preowned or used cars.
Even if you buy a new Honda, tomorrow it is considered pre owned. The only plus point is virtually no repairs for the first 20 months,if you take extreme care. But still you have to go for their regular services.
New Car prices in Bolehland are too HIGH.
Buy only during very special promotions or else choose from the 500,000 used cars available in the internet.
Remember, those who can afford Honda new cars are unlikely to get BRIM from gomen.Dont buy blindly and end up servicing loans to the BRIM!!

No problem if the prices raised by a few thousand RM. Honda can even raise to ten thousand RM, if they want.

The Malaysia Raykat will work for 2 jobs (or more) ….and then buy (already) expensive cars from Honda.

Wonderful way by the G to take care of the people, screw the currency exchange rate as one of the strategy to prevent more cars on the road and traffic jam. Next will be toll increase.

Price increase?? Dont buy la… at the end Honda Sales will drop..at last they will give kaw kaw discount to achieve their sales target and to release car from warehouse.

Dont buy when price increase.. Buy when they give at least 20% discount.

I sense used car dealer stock will sell better since new car price all hike, user tend to consider maintain existing car or change used car.

  • Just blaming is useless, we all should take action by stop buying Honda together, if this happen, I don’t think Honda dare to increase price.

Similarly, just blaming BN gov is useless, we all should take action and don’t vote for them during next GE.
