If you need some inspiration on how to modify your Mazda CX-3, maybe this will help. On display at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show is the CX-3 Racing Concept, which shares the stage with the facelifted CX-5.

The CX-3 Racing Concept is as the name suggests – take a regular version of the compact crossover and spruce it up a little for a better visual impact (more than it already does). Of course, Mazda kept things subtle here, so no wild, out-of-place spoilers and the such can be seen here.

Dressed in black, the CX-3 gains a Mazdaspeed aero kit, which are easy to spot as they are accented in red. The kit tags on two front spoiler elements, side skirting, and a rear trim element above the exhaust pipes.

To complete the look, decals are added along the sides and front of the car. The CX-3 also rides on large 20-inch thin-spoke alloy wheels with red-painted edges and low-profile tyres. Drilled brake discs and red calipers with Mazda branding are present as well.

The interior reveals aluminium pedals and Alcantara adorning the dashboard as well as the seats. Speaking of the seats, they are now of the sport variety, sourced from Mazdaspeed.

The CX-3 Racing Concept first made its debut at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon, and also made an appearance at the 2016 Osaka Auto Messe. What do you think of the modified crossover – would you like to dress yours up the same way?
