2025 Proton Saga MC3 seen again – to debut soon?

The upcoming Proton Saga MC3 facelift has been sighted road-testing once again, this time on the Federal Highway, sighted courtesy of King Wong on the paultan.org Automotive/Car discussion group on Facebook.

Where the last sighting of the upcoming model depicted the rear view of the vehicle, the national carmaker’s entry-level sedan once again shows its front as well, though this time there appears to be less camouflage on its grille, revealing more of its mesh pattern. Here, we can also see the ADAS camera that was sighted earlier this year.

It remains to be seen if this is indeed the new, AMA-based Saga that is set to debut this year, which is likely as the current model is now nine years old, with two facelifts – 2019 and 2022 – having emerged since the debut of the P2-13A third-generation model.

The upcoming model that’s being tested appears to wear panels and an overall shape similar to that of the current model, though it remains to be seen if this is just a disguise. Whether it will use a Proton or Geely engine is still not known.

Last month, the upcoming Saga MC3 was also sighted on test with a third-generation Perodua Myvi facelift, suggesting there could be benchmarking underway. Although the Saga and the Myvi are of different vehicle segments, comparison parameters could include the Myvi’s ADAS, refinement, packaging, performance and efficiency.

Alsmak why use back the old body shell that is a bad design. Should come out witj new body sjell that procides maximum interior room while still beinv compact. Look at Attrage, outside looks small but inside very roomy.

Kalau ada engine 1.5 timing chain baru boleh overtake bezza, myvi ambil top spot ya. Handling memang dah jauh menang perodua.
