Yet another customised Proton for YAM Tengku Sulaiman Shah Ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, YAM Tengku Laksamana of Selangor, and it’s an X90, dressed in a striking two-tone livery that comprises brown for the body and silver for the bonnet and roof.
A subtle pair of LEDs adorn the lower intake, there are shiny custom wheels and there’s Proton’s ‘Harimau Malaya’ logo as a bonnet ornament (like his special X70 and X50, and which has been added to his custom Perdana). The words ‘Proton X90 Special Edition’ surround the bonnet ornament’s base.
It’s no less special inside – the seats have been upholstered in a fetching two-tone white and reddish-brown. The steering wheel gets walnut on the top and bottom, and the sides are finished in reddish-brown. At the back of the front seats are fold-down tray tables with cupholders.
This should be Tengku Sulaiman’s seventh customised Proton – he also has a first-gen Saga limousine, a Putra, a Satria, a blue 2016 Perdana 2.4, a blue X70 and a gold X50.
