Keen to learn all about BYD’s technologies and explore all its brand offerings conveniently, under one roof? Then there’s no better place to do so than at the BYD Tech Discovery 2025 showcase that’s happening at Plaza Arkadia, Kuala Lumpur. The event, which runs from tomorrow, November 14 to 16, from 10 am to 8 pm daily, is the first time the brand is showing everything it has at one go in a single location.
Organised by BYD Malaysia and Denza, together with official distributor BYD Sime Motors, the event is billed as an immersive showcase, highlighting all the tech behind the BYD and Denza models that presently make up the local product range as well as the vehicles themselves, in this case the BYD Sealion 7, Seal, Seal 6 EV, Atto 3, Atto 2 and M6, along with the Denza D9.
Attendees will not just be able to learn more about these vehicles and test drive them, but also get to experience the workings of the Denza Z9 GT and the BYD Shark 6, which is making its first appearance in the country at the showcase.
With the Z9 GT, visitors will be able to sample futuristic functions such as a 360-degree rotation turn and crab-walk, while the Shark 6 pick-up will demonstrate the strength of the brand’s Dual Mode Off-road (DMO) technology through a Camel Bridge challenge and cross-axle obstacle as well as via acceleration tests and speed bump challenges.
Inside, you’ll be able to learn all about the company’s innovations, from its Blade battery and its e-Platform 3.0 chassis to its host of intelligent systems, through a series of wall info panels. Of course, the brand’s tech experts and sales staff will be on hand to answer whatever queries you might have about the brand and its offerings.
As usual, there will be event-exclusive deals, so there promises to be plenty of savings if you’re thinking of getting a BYD vehicle before the tax-free period runs out at the end of this year.
BYD Malaysia MD Eagle Zhao said that the tech showcase is the perfect opportunity for visitors to experience and learn all about the brand, its tech innovations and its vehicles. “The BYD Tech Discovery event is our way of sharing our journey with Malaysians. This is not just a showcase, but a defining moment in Malaysia’s shift towards a cleaner and sustainable future,” he said.
