At a media event today, Chery Corporate Malaysia (Chery Malaysia) revealed that it currently has 59 dealerships in its network, encompassing 54 aftersales and 25 body and paint (B&P) outlets.
With the support of these dealerships, the company said that it has managed to sell 30,073 units since the brand was launched here back in July 2023.
Last year, Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) models made up 21% of the company’s sales, while the split between the Tiggo and Omoda series was 66% to 34% respectively.
In 2026, Chery Malaysia will also gradually roll out its new generation showroom, which is being dubbed Gen 4 to replace the current Gen 3 look.
To further reinforce its position in Malaysia, construction of the Chery Smart Auto Industrial Park in Lembah Beringin, Selangor began in February 2025 and is expected to be completed this year, with an output of 100,000 units per year.
