The Omoda E5 carries into 2026 unchanged, with no announced 2026-specific model-year revision. The Malaysian range remains a single 2WD variant with a 61 kWh battery, 430 km WLTP range and 201 hp front electric motor. During 2025, Chery ran substantial rebates on 2024 stock, including a RM48,000 rebate with a wallbox, V2L cable and charging credits. The E5 is also being evaluated for Ministry of Transport approval as a taxi.
