New car registration data from the road transport department (JPJ) is out, showing the bestselling cars for the month of March 2026. Topping the list once again is the Perodua Bezza, repeating its achievement of February 2026, as part of Perodua’s sales achievement of 24,530 units sold in March 2026.
While the Bezza took the top spot with 7,493 units, the Axia follows in second place with 5,774 units, with the top three rounded up by the Proton Saga with 5,398 units sold in March 2026, dropping from second place attained in February.

So,is the 100,000 new Saga bookings a made up figure?
If only 5000 unit sales in a Hari Raya month..either there are mass cancellations,a backward production or mass loan rejections by banks.
And the ironical part is the ageing Bezza still outpace a more powerful 1.5 facelifted and cheaper Saga.
Something just dont add up.
Suppose P2 start giving hefty rebates on the Jurassic Bezza, like how Honda give massive discounts, how on earth is the new Saga gonna fare?
Perhaps, time to rehire the Roslan dude.
if you see Perodua capacity already shoot beyond 30k per month in 2025.
so these are now fighting for who got car who get sales first now, while there are still many willing to wait for dream car.
Roslan Dude moved to GWM more than half a year ago. You didn’t know?
thats why he suggested , “rehire” roslan.
Veloz, Xpander, Innova Zenix has left the chart.
X90 Serena revival not yet gain count for launching during Raya School Holiday/After Raya Time.
Blind people will buy bezza and axia, even though the price difference is very smol
I guess I’m one of those blind people … Lol
Having a better specs on paper doesn’t translate to the real world usages. Personally Saga have a few deal breaker for me. And I couldn’t be more happy with my decision.
I think because there are a lot of issue posted by new saga owner causing the drop in sale
