D9 in 2026 — what's new
For 2026, Malaysia continues with the Advanced FWD and Premium AWD D9 range, with prices rising to RM299,000 and RM355,000 after taxes. A newer 2026 D9 has appeared in China with an all-new interior, passenger and rear screens, Flash Charging and up to 800 km of claimed CLTC range. The China-market EV is also reported with a new grille and higher outputs, but these updates are not confirmed for Malaysian cars.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should choose the RM299,000 Advanced FWD. It has the same 103.36 kWh battery and seven seats as the Premium, delivers the longer 520 km claimed range, and its 308 hp should be enough for the D9’s MPV role. Pay the RM56,000 extra for the Premium AWD only if all-wheel drive and 369 hp matter more than range; its claimed figure falls to 490 km. On the listed figures, the extra money buys drivetrain and power rather than a larger battery.

Denza D9 buyer's guides & reviews
Verdict
The D9 makes a strong case as a large electric MPV with seven seats, a 103.36 kWh battery and a choice of 520 km FWD or 490 km AWD claimed range. Its Malaysian starting price is RM29,112 above the Xpeng X9, but RM800 below the Zeekr 009. Early demand has been substantial, with more than 700 units registered in a year, ahead of the Zeekr 009 and Xpeng X9.
