Navara in 2026 — what's new
There is no 2026-specific Malaysian update for the D23 Facelift, so it carries into 2026 unchanged. The latest local change is the 2025 Navara X-Tremer, which adds exterior trim and a more premium interior from RM135k. The core range comprises the Single Cab, SE, V, VL and Pro-4X, with the SE available in manual and automatic forms. All use a 2.5-litre diesel and AWD.
Which variant to buy
Most private buyers should take the SE 2.5 AT at RM123,600. It gets the 187 hp 2.5-litre diesel and automatic gearbox for RM6,000 more than the 161 hp SE 2.5 MT, while retaining five seats and AWD. The RM98,600 Single Cab 2.5 MT is the work-focused two-seater. Above the SE AT sit the V 2.5 AT at RM134,800, VL 2.5 AT at RM146,900 and Pro-4X 2.5 AT at RM154,800. On paper, you are paying more for trim rather than mechanicals, so check the equipment list.

The D23 Facelift covers two distinct jobs: a two-seat manual Single Cab for work and five-seat AWD pickups with a 187 hp automatic diesel from the SE AT upwards. The core mechanical choice is clear, but the V, VL and Pro-4X share the same stated engine, transmission, seating and drivetrain as the SE AT. Their extra cost needs to be justified by confirmed equipment.
