Proton Ultimate – Proton Sports Car Road Test?

Is Proton’s new sports car already doing road tests? Proton was talking about launching 3 new models after the Gen2, which is the Tiara Replacement Model, the Satria Replacement Model and also a sports car which I presume to be based on one of the Lotus cars. The sports car project was code-named Proton Ultimate.

In the images above you can see a camouflaged sports car which looks like a Lotus parked behind a camouflaged Proton Savvy. Is this the sports car Proton is going to introduce or is it just a new Lotus model?

I must say it looks good! Looks like a Lotus. The rims look like the ones on the first generation Waja. Definitely a hint of Proton styling there.

    the renaming was a must, thank god they did it anyway

    sassy sounds more sissish and girlish rather than the macho looking exterior of the car, not quite macho but then definitely its not for sissies, savvy sounds elegant though, good that they have stopped names like satria, perdana, iswara, and i was hoping the next one to be ultraman or otromen in malafied slang.hehe

    as for the camouflaged sports car, i dont thinks its going to be the next proton model, but then againm, it looks quite huge for a lotus, doesnt seem to have the lotus' trademark style. and lets just assume its a proton..andn paul, im terribly addicted to your site, pretty interesting stuff you've got here. finally someone with a useful blogsite rather than some emotional sad bastard telling how much he wants to die.

    Proton have been showing the "spy" pictures for sometime…but where is the real deal? The longer they push their luck, more potential buyers will opt for other models (…which is better)

    be linient a bite…. at least proton is holding most of the lotus shares, proton = boss of lotus, what's wrong with producing new car with OWN COMPANY's design!?!?!? a smart way to R&D though. good for building the way to top car makers in the world! (well at least top50??)

    Dah Lotus tu Proton punya tentu le dia guna teknologi Lotus.

    Itu le sebab di ambil alih Lotus tu sebab nak kan technolgy tranfer dan know how dari Lotus. BONGOK!!!!

    Aku rasa si KOMEN ni sedang sakit jiwa..sebab tak mampu nak beli kereta Proton baru..Yang dia mampu takat tengok lepas tu hentam…

    Jealous tengok orang booked WAJA (baru), GEN2 (baru), Savvy (tentu baru), meleleh ayak lioq..

    Sebab dia cuma mampu beli kancil 2nd hand jer, tu pun ntah tahun berapa punya model. Lepas tu sumbat le turbo le, tukar rim besar kawah, tukar eksos batang lemang, konon dah jadi keta sport le tu….

    Cuba lah hantar keta kancil SPORT kau tu kat Lotus ke, kat Proton, boleh le diorang buat unggun api. KAH! KAH! KAH!

    saya bukan nak kutuk barang sendiri tapi ni keyataan,kita tengok kereta korea saja sekarang dah merdeka tak payah lagi kepakaran dari kompani yang kerjasama dulu kan? boleh buat concept car-nya, kereta hybrid-nya, kita lagi?… masih dibawah naungan MITSU…..macam mana nak capai WAW 2020 tinggal 15 tahun lagi ni beberapa bulan lagi dah puasa… pastu raya and then christmas dan new year? tinggal 14 tahun lagi? negara lain dah pakai gps kita bila lagi? keretanya dah ada fuel cell serta hybrid, jangan cakap kita tengah membangunlah diorg dah maju..

    Having to raise my children, I know we to let them learn by themselves.

    Our son Proton is now 30 years old, still studying in the University, and when there was a big bully push him around, father have to make a trip to the school to inform the teacher , and look for the bully.

    Poor old father is now 65+ and one will imagine how long will father still need to do this.

    Our son Proton graduated and started working is a big firm, at now age 40, married and have child of his own, his manager scolded our son proton and make him do the report again, poor old father, now at age 75+, DO YOU THINK HE NEED TO GO TO THE OFFICE TO SCOLD THE MANAGER.

    Pada pandangan saya pulak.Kita wajar menyokong baranagn buatan negara kita..kalau tak bagus..kita bagi la idea camne nak kais bagus..kalau anak kita bodoh bangang ada tak kita cakap kat anak kita..kau ni dah la bodoh bangang pulak tu…mesti tak kan..mesti la kita bagi dia pendidikan dan sebagainya..kasi improve dia punya kepala hotak..

Tanpa beliau, negara kita takkan ada syarikat kereta yang boleh beli syarikat Lotus yang terkenal di dunia… Lagipun, adalah satu perkara yang terbaik kalau you all berterima kasih kat Tun Dr. Mahathir.     Aku ni bukannya jenis suka mengutuk.Tapi aku pelik gak ngan Proton ni.Tak serik ker dengan kutukan-kutukan selama ini.Buat ape nak ambik tahu pasal proton,nak tutup ker nak mampus ker peduli aper.Beli kereta import lagi bagus.Tapi kita kena sedar orang yang memberi kutukan ni ialah orang yang nakkan Proton ni maju dan mampu mengeluarkan model yang membanggakan.Lebih baik dari beri kutukan supaya Proton ni boleh bangun dari tidor ,dari orang yang langsung tak ambil peduli pasal proton.Nama jer beli lotus tapi ape jadah teknologi yang kita dapat.Tengoklah Proton kiter,saper yang pakai proton tahu ler.Dah 20 tahun tapi masih ada di tahap ni.Tak tahu nak cakap ape lagi.Bila nak maju tak tahulah…

    i dont get why are ppl all scolding one another… all i know is, proton should actually try to improve on their quality… and sometimes when they improved their quality (for example, Savvy), the car's design seems to be ignored. MY GOD! That hood looks like a toilet seat! X( I am definately unhappy with that. Hope this so called proton ultimate will really be ULTIMATE. Or else, proton is going down… (to me of course)

    nie aku baru beli exora, ehem.. nampak kemas bergaya, kembang lee.. tapi ada tapinya gak.. teramat nak kena komen. nyesal dah beli… kena tanggung beban gak lama neh. dengar kata power sangat dan menjimatkan namun..

    mimpi tak selalunya indah. Exoraku semput.. nak lalu jalan berbukit cam semut je, enjin ngerang semput. ngaum tak sangga-sangga tapi nengok meter baru 50 km/h. terlalu tak larat macam enjin tua. malu beb.. keta baru tapi lemah gamalai. Minyak kedarah.. kedarah kuat tapi power nothing. RM 90.00 dapat pi 350 km jeee.. cian kat aku kena tipu dek salesman. Yang baru nak beli tu tak yah dok pikir lagi .. batalkan ajat anda semua. biar je kami yang dah trlanjur nie tanggung kesilapan bodoh kami.. yang lain tu jangan nanti nyesal cam kami lak. aku nyesaaaaaaalllll!

      dan kw patut bangga dan kagum dgn kelancaran minyaknya yg lincah mcm air..disbbkan enjin tersebut x dpt melepasi euro 6, enjin tersebut x dpt diguna pakai utk masa ini..akhirnya, mazda terpaksa cari enjin lain bagi menggantikan enjin 1.3 rotary utk dipakai pada model RX-9 akan dtg..1.3 mazda mmg power, 2++hp kalau x silap, tpi minyak hampeh lincah mcm air

    First thing the the design look like sucks even seen before, i can choose BMW sports is better speed better performance. please stop design stupid fucking car in Malaysia its look like fucking bitch. The design like useless and when comes to accident part the car become stupid ass. First try make your as safety car. Malaysian proton is really sucking design every month of creating new car. I can support better car can protected car is oversea.Malaysia car is such bull shit car.Proton should stop designing better car in market that makes valuable car.

    This prototype design and created by Proton but sold the whole program to Tesla as Tesla Roadster. Such a waste…
