In new colours for the Malaysia market is the 2026 Suzuki V-Strom 1050, priced at RM78,900. The new colour choices are Metallic Oort Grey, Metallic Matt Steel Green and Glass Sparkle Black, while every V-Strom 1050 comes with a free set of genuine Suzuki luggage upon purchase.
No changes otherwise for the V-Strom 1050 with power coming from a 90-degree, liquid-cooled V-twin displacing 1,037 cc. Power is claimed to be 105.5 hp at 8,500 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, going through a quick shifter-equipped six-speed gearbox and chain final drive to the rear wheel.
For suspension, the V-Strom 1050 gets upside-down forks while the rear-end is held up by a monoshock. Wheel sizing is 19-inches in front and 17-inches at the back, wearing 110/90 and 150/70 tyres.
Suzuki’s Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) controls all the electronic riding functions on the V-Strom 1050. These include Traction Control System (STCS), Motion Track Brake System, Cruise Control System, Hill Hold Control System, Load Dependent Control System, Slope Dependent Control System, Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist that prevents stalling the V-Strom when starting from a stand still.
Riding information is displayed on a 5-inch LCD screen with a USB charging port located on the left side while a 12-Volt socket is found under the passenger seat. The V-Strom 1050 also comes with adjustable seat from the base setting of 855 mm and a manually-adjustable windshield while weight is listed as 252 kg with 20-litres of fuel carried in the tank.
