Benelli Malaysia has introduced four new colour options for its neo-retro Panarea 125 scooter, priced at RM6,998.
The new colours are Charcoal Black, Rosa Pink, Modena Silver and Ivory White, joining the existing range for the lifestyle-oriented scooter and was previously priced at RM6,888 in 2022.
For buyers of the Panarea 125, Benelli Malaysia provides a two-year or 20,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, against manufacturing defects. Power comes from a 124 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve SOHC engine, featuring electronic fuel injection and air cooling. The engine produces 8.44 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Drive is sent to the rear wheel through a CVT automatic transmission with belt final drive, while the Panarea 125 comes with both electric and kick starters.
Suspension consists of telescopic forks up front, paired with a telescopic coil-spring, and oil-damped rear suspension adjustable for spring preload. Braking is handled by a 190 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum.
The Panarea 125 rolls on 12-inch wheels, shod with 100/90-12 front and 110/90-12 rear tyres. It weighs 104 kg dry, while seat height is 760 mm and ground clearance is 135 mm with 4.6 litres, carried in the tank.
Other equipment includes LED headlamps and tail lights, a combined analogue-digital instrument cluster, hazard lights, engine kill switch, a 12-litre under-seat storage compartment and dual front storage pockets with a USB charging port. The brand has since expanded its Malaysian line-up across several segments, including neo-retro scooters, adventure motorcycles, naked bikes and fully faired sportbikes.
err.. why not yellow color and deep red ? the black cladding doesn’t seems to be at the right place. i saw a few all red and all yellow is so nice on the road. it has the ‘chic’ look.. he he. if got round headlight will be better.. ha ha
