Kajang police seized five vehicles, including a Honda motorcycle and four lorries, during a traffic enforcement operation along Jalan Hulu Langat, Kajang. The operation was conducted by the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) of the Kajang district police headquarters (IPD), focusing on heavy vehicles such as lorries and vans, as well as crime prevention.
A total of 89 vehicles and 118 individuals were inspected during the operation, with 30 traffic summonses issued for various offences. The vehicles were seized under Section 64(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
Police said the vehicles were found to have committed various traffic offences, including driving without a valid licence and offences involving vehicle equipment. The operation also included checks on drivers’ documents, vehicle condition and equipment, as well as compliance with road safety regulations.
Police advised heavy vehicle drivers and operators to ensure their vehicles are in safe and roadworthy condition, while all relevant licences and documents remain valid before travelling. Similar operations will continue to be carried out periodically in Kajang as part of efforts to improve road safety and compliance, particularly among heavy vehicle users.

30 of 89 vehicles inspected were found to be against the law… That is 33%!!! What the heck is goin on with this country?
From the looks of it, everytime we see a lorry on the road, it’s safe to assume that 90% of the time it has no road tax, no insurance, and the license plate is a false plate . So much for being economic workhorses. These trucks have become nothing more than criminal symbols. so it is safe to assume that the lorry and truck drivers are lawbreaking crimimal scum , remind me again why they should be entitled to subsidies?
Such a stupid assumption from lowlife like you to call all the trucks and truck drivers as lawbreakers criminal scums.
I’m a lorry drivers and my road taxes almost rm500 per months, GDL and CDL renewal on time and my truck have a mandatory inspection at Puspakom every 6 months.
Are you so stupid and ignorant self entitled prick sob brain functioning normally untill you dare to assume all trucks and truck drivers as criminals only by this post?
He said 90% not all. Can’t read? Stop taking ketum and drive carefully on the road. Don’t kill anyone.
Lots of deadly accidents from unqualified truck drivers. Get them off the road and make it safer for you and me.
Why is the enforcement periodically? Why not do it every single day for 1 whole month? ALL the lorries and motorcycles and cars will automatically become law abiding! Then when the next follow up, there will be very few miscreants
