A Singaporean motorcycle rider was rescued by Malaysian police after becoming lost while riding a 1,000 cc motorcycle along a hiking trail at Bukit Tiram, Bandar Cemerlang, Johor. The Ulu Tiram police station’s Crime Prevention Patrol (RCJ) Tango 5 team responded after the Seri Alam District Control Centre (DCC) received information about the rider, who had become lost and required assistance.
Acting on information provided, RCJ Tango 5 personnel immediately began searching for the man using his reported location and telephone number. The rider was subsequently found together with his Honda Africa Twin along the trail.
According to police, the man had fallen while travelling along the route. He then attempted to lift the motorcycle but was unable to do so, as stated by Ulu Tiram police in their social media page.
The situation became more difficult after the motorcycle’s battery ran out of power, while the rider was also unfamiliar with the route out of the area and could not find his way to obtain assistance. An initial inspection found that the rider was tired but safe, with no injuries reported.
The swift response by the RCJ Tango 5 team ensured the rider’s safety and provided him with the assistance needed to get out of the area. The incident also highlights the risks of taking large-capacity motorcycles onto unfamiliar or unsuitable routes, particularly where access for assistance may be limited.

singkie and m type, the worst possible combination
riding offroad with large capacity bike… basic 101… learn back-to-bike lifting technique…
what a dumbass… went in alone, no navigation aid, battery out of juice… kudos to them cops
what a dumbazz.. went in alone, no navigation aid, battery ran out of juice… kudos to them cops
Another silly sinkie
how dumb & naives they could be
Those Big ADV are not suitable to go into trails….you’ll need smaller capacity trail bikes for real trails. The Big ADV should be more of a tourer bike with limited off road capability due to its weight.
This rider should have gone with a buddy. To attempt this on your own when you are unfamiliar with the area AND with poor maintenance (battery depleted so easily) is an accident waiting to happen – it did but he was safely rescued. Hope this is a good lesson for him and others who think of attempting this on their own!
Well done, rescue team members! Kudos to you all.
Why did he went alone ? Have class 2 but no brain. Biasalah Singaporean kaisu kaisi
Have class 2 but no brain. cannot lift the bike…..bike not suitable for conditions.
Sinkie, where else can they go ?? east to west, north to south & back within the tiny island, so will get bored in just 1-2 days.
as a matter of fact, all of them are not competent to even drive or ride in other bigger countries due to long hours covering vast distances.
this sinkie is so dumb, come back malaysia become first class citizen with free money from government all around the year, live in singapore so long can only afford a battery bike, waste time.
1000cc bike isnt exactly cheap you know
Don’t ride a bike you cannot pick up, push, repair a puncture or change the main fuse.
Don’t ride a bike you that you cannot push, pick-up, repair a puncture or change the main fuse.
Well-done and good job to the Malaysian Rescue Team Tango 5.
Singaporean Dumbo, Golden Rule for typical rider in general, never never ride an off-road expedition on a high powered bike be it engine or battery powered especially when you are alone. Count yourself lucky this time thanks to Tango 5 Rescue Team. Be Grateful…
Abang polis only went in with a kapcai… Sohai punya sinkie.. next time don’t simply put anything in between your legs… it might kill you.
Got money no brains no fitness
DumbAss Idiot
