Overview
The Perodua Myvi is a five-seat B-segment hatchback for first-time owners, family runabout duties and everyday commuting. This third-generation D51A arrived in 2021 and uses front-wheel drive and a CVT automatic throughout. Prices start at RM46,500, putting the entry Myvi below the Proton eMas 5 from RM59,800 and Wuling Bingo from RM67,800.
Myvi in 2026 — what's new
The current D51A carries into 2026 unchanged in mechanical specification. The line-up still starts with two 94 hp 1.3-litre G grades and moves to the 102 hp 1.5-litre X, H and AV, all with petrol power, front-wheel drive and CVT automatic transmission. A RM1,500 Myvi discount appears in the July 2026 promotion. Perodua has also teased a next-generation Myvi; hybrid power is only a likelihood, not a confirmed specification.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should choose the 1.5 X at RM50,900. It brings the 102 hp 1.5-litre engine for RM2,400 more than the 1.3 G at RM48,500. The 1.3 G without PSDA costs RM46,500. The 1.5 H is RM54,900 and AV RM59,900; both retain the X's 1,496 cc, 102 hp, FWD CVT mechanical package. On paper, the extra RM4,000 or RM9,000 is for trim rather than mechanicals, so check the equipment list before paying it.
