To better serve Malaysian customers, Boon Siew has opened a new Centralised Spare Parts warehouse. Located at its headquarters in Batu Kawan, Penang, the new facility covers an area of 5,533 square meters, representing a 238% increase compared to the previous spare parts storage facility.
The larger space allows for systematic arrangement of spare parts, leading to efficient logistics operations as well as maintaining higher inventory levels. The new warehouse is fully centralised, integrating inbound, storage, and outbound processes into a single operation.
This improves parts availability and supports timely distribution to over 114 Honda Impian X and seven Honda BigWing dealerships nationwide. The warehouse is intended to serve Boon Siew Honda’s future expansion in the Malaysia motorcycle market through to 2031 and has achieved Green Building Index (GBI) certification, inline with Honda’s commitment to sustainable operations.
Construction of the warehouse began in May 2025 with building completion in March 2026, while full operations are set to commence in May. “The introduction of our new Spare Parts Warehouse is a strategic step in strengthening our after-sales foundation in Malaysia. As our network continues to grow, it is essential that our infrastructure evolves to support both our dealers and customers more effectively,” said Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and CEO of Boon Siew Honda.

why is the warehouse empty
Boon Siew once created this great company that brought us everything Honda…
Now? We have to be contented with a sparepart warehouse as the headline…
Boon Siew as distributor of Honda Motorcycles not cars which responsibility belongs with Honda Malaysia, different entity. So this central warehouse intended for the bikes aka cubs only for the ease of motorcycle business, not cars or all of Honda.
