The Perodua Aruz‘s price has changed for the first time in its seven-year life. The seven-seat SUV’s now priced at RM68,900 for the X variant and RM73,900 for the AV variant, which is RM4k cheaper across the range.
On top of that, in conjunction with Malaysia Day (Ativa deals here), the national carmaker is throwing in a RM4k rebate from September 15 to October 31, which would lower the prices further to RM64,900 and RM69,900 respectively.
Launched in January 2019, the Aruz is Perodua’s second-slowest-selling model (second to what, you know – the EV is now offering a RM10k rebate on top of the June price cut). It’s also currently the only body-on-frame Perodua and the only rear-wheel drive Perodua, and its Toyota twin, which was also built in Sungai Choh, was discontinued in 2024.
The Aruz has a 102 PS/133 Nm 1.5 litre four-cylinder engine and a four-speed auto. Passion Red joined the colour range in late-2021 and Elegant Black surfaced in late-2024. In August 2025, Vintage Brown replaced Electric Blue and the seven-seater also received a blacked-out look.

Mathematically:
Low demand = Low.price
demand for space is there,
but it’s usually refer to Big Sofa and Big Legroom.
and then the other demands are technology, performance, comfort.
This Aruz now priced from RM 64k+ 101hp,
it doesnt rattling like aged avanza for basic.
Malaysians work hard to buy Perodua Bezza and Axia their whole life. Even poor India who eat cow shit and drink cow urine can buy Suzuki Jimny for same price as Axia.
Competition is always good for the consumer. Waiting for lower pricing for Bezza and Myvi next
Perodua should retired aruz and sell traz below rm70k.
Shittiest new car.. Noisy, bouncy.. Like how do you tell yourself ‘this is the one i want’… Most mind boggling car in the market … It should never be more than Rm50k…
Its just a repackaged toyota avanza
For years, they ripped extra RM8K from the rakyat for each Aruz.
My colleague kesian always dream for a Suzuki Jimmy – kesian her salary can only afford Aruz.
Sinful.
your colleague should migrate to india as Jimny is only MYR30g
Your friend is smart. Jimmy is twice the price for the same outdated 1.5L auo setup..
Sebab cukai dik
Suzuki Jimny Euro Ncap 3 stars,
how about this?
thats ironic because aruz is objectively a better car than jimny, at half the price too.
Price going down? Ini melawan aruz..
How many image for a old new car?
Perodua: Yes.
Next, Honda Malaysia turn.
4 speed automatic in this day and age…..
